Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Driver in Philadelphia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will drive to conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and remain visible to help deter incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming, secure environment. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor vehicle, visitor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures; verify credentials and direct authorized personnel as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
