SECURITY OFFICERS – GRADE A & B

We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Security Officers to join our team.

1. Grade A/B Security Officers – X-Ray Screening & Walk-Through Metal Detectors

Requirements:

• Valid PSiRA registration.
• Grade A or Grade B Security qualification.
• Valid training certificates in Walk-Through Metal Detector (WTMD) and X-Ray Screening/Scanning.
• Relevant experience operating and manning security screening equipment.
• Knowledge and understanding of security screening procedures and protocols.
• Ability to identify and respond appropriately to prohibited or suspicious items.
• Good communication and observation skills.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Previous experience in a high-security environment will be advantageous.

2. Grade B Security Officers – Firearm Competency

Requirements:

• Valid PSiRA registration.
• Grade B Security qualification.
• Valid Firearm Competency Certificate.
• Relevant experience in armed security will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of firearm safety, security procedures and relevant legislation.
• Good communication, observation and reporting skills.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct access control and security screening.
• Operate screening equipment in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor and control access to the premises.
• Identify and report suspicious activities or prohibited items.
• Maintain accurate occurrence books and security records.
• Respond to security incidents appropriately.
• Ensure compliance with company and client security procedures.
