Job Summary

SkyHawk Protective Services is seeking a dependable, vigilant, and professional Level II Security Officer to provide unarmed security services. Officers will maintain a safe and welcoming environment, protect personnel and property, and respond professionally to security concerns.

This assignment requires professional suit attire. Applicants must maintain a polished appearance and demonstrate excellent customer service, sound judgment, and strong communication skills.

Weekly Schedule

● Fridays: 5:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m. (midnight)

● Saturdays: 11:00 a.m.–12:00 a.m. (midnight)

Applicants must be available to work both scheduled shifts consistently, totaling 20 hours per week.

Duties

● Conduct regular patrols to identify suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.

● Monitor CCTV and other security systems when available.

● Verify entry authorization and follow site-specific access procedures.

● Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies according to established post orders.

● Use professional communication and de-escalation techniques to manage conflicts.

● Contact emergency services and SkyHawk dispatch when necessary.

● Document patrol activity, incidents, and attendance accurately through SkyHawk’s designated reporting system.

● Provide courteous assistance to clients, guests, employees, and vendors.

● Maintain professional suit attire and comply with SkyHawk’s appearance standards.

● Follow company policies and site-specific security procedures.

Requirements

● Current Texas Level II noncommissioned security registration.

● Prior security experience preferred.

● Ability to wear professional suit attire throughout each shift.

● Reliable transportation, punctuality, and consistent availability for both weekly shifts.

● Strong observation, communication, customer service, and report-writing skills.

● Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.

● Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while performing assigned duties.

● Familiarity with CCTV, access control, and electronic reporting systems preferred.

● First aid, CPR, and AED certification preferred.

● Ability to meet applicable employment screening requirements.

● Military or law enforcement experience is welcome but not required.
