Job Description As a Security Officer - Overnight Office in Phoenix, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support site operations by reporting observations and responding to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization for employees, visitors, and contractors, and document entry and exit activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol findings, incidents, and maintenance or hazard observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
