What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, screening visitors, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle activity, coordinate with site personnel regarding deliveries and pickups, and report irregularities or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
