That’s why we created the Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Clinical Reception in PEAPACK , NJ , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule Day Time Thur 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Monitor the front desk area, greet and direct visitors, verify visitor credentials as required, and maintain visitor logs and other required documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with site personnel and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing entry activity, following visitor management procedures, and reporting suspicious activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence, answer incoming calls, provide directions and information, and support a welcoming environment for individuals receiving care and educational services.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Possess supervisory experience.
• Possess at least two years of experience in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
