Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Screening in Albany, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a healthcare location. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and assist patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and clear communication. You will support access control and respond to security-related concerns while contributing to a caring, reliable team culture grounded in integrity, teamwork, and innovation.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital facilities, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with hospital personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
