You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, driver, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
