Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol First Aid Response at Amazon Warehouse in Concord, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology and media location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, exterior areas, parking facilities, loading docks, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and assist with access-control procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports, and support a professional, welcoming environment while following Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
