As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will use X-ray screening practices to help identify prohibited items, support access control, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will interact professionally with employees and visitors, communicate observations clearly, and provide customer-focused service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or team members by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or belongings entering designated areas in accordance with established procedures; report prohibited items, irregularities, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Monitor access points and shipping or distribution areas for unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the distribution location and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
