Security Officer Class 2 Driver - Secure Document Destruction (Dunedin)

TIMG Dunedin is seeking a Security Officer - Class 2 Driver to help us securely collect and transport confidential documents for destruction.

What Document Destruction Involves

• Collecting full 240L bins of confidential documents from customer sites throughout Otago
• Safely manoeuvre and load heavy 240litre bins on and off the vehicle
• Keeping everything secure from pickup to drop‑off
• Delivering material to our facility for industrial‑grade shredding
• Ensuring complete, compliant destruction for our clients

What You'll Be Doing

• Driving a Class 2 truck around Dunedin and across the Otago region

• Occasional overnight travel will be required as part of this role

• Early morning departures from Dunedin may be required

• Return travel is generally the following day

• Accommodation provided and overnight allowance paid

• Loading, securing, and transporting full heavy confidential document bins

• Delivering friendly, reliable service to customers

• Occasionally, operate a reach truck to move pallets, load and unload stock.

• Ensure all document destruction materials are handled securely and confidentially.

What We're Looking For

• A full NZ Class 2 licence with 12+ months' experience
• Reach Truck or Forklift licence (OSH/F) - bonus but not essential

· You must be comfortable with frequent physical activity through the day including handling full 240 litre bins in a high‑activity role (30+ times per day)

• Organised, reliable, and confident navigating the region
• Friendly and customer‑focused
• Able to pass Police, Medical, and Drug checks
• Either Citizen or Permanent Resident able to work full‑time in New Zealand
