Position Overview

We are looking for a Security Operations Analyst who has practical experience working with endpoint security and vulnerability management. The role involves monitoring security findings, coordinating corrective actions, and resolving vulnerabilities affecting Windows devices.

Candidates with hands-on experience in vulnerability remediation and those who can start as soon as possible are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Review security and vulnerability findings from endpoint and vulnerability management platforms.
• Assess identified CVEs and determine appropriate remediation actions.
• Carry out security updates, patches, and other corrective measures on affected endpoints.
• Validate patches and updates before wider implementation.
• Assist with the deployment and onboarding of Windows devices to Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE).
• Investigate devices with security, compliance, or patching issues.
• Examine Windows logs and system information to determine the cause of endpoint problems.
• Work with users and internal technical teams to resolve affected machines.
• Coordinate with Microsoft Support when endpoint or patching issues require vendor assistance.
• Maintain records of remediation activities and unresolved findings.
• Prepare regular reports on security findings, remediation progress, and remaining risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• Professional experience in cybersecurity, endpoint security, vulnerability management, or related IT functions.
• Hands-on experience resolving security vulnerabilities is required.
• Working knowledge of CVE identification, assessment, and remediation.
• Experience with Windows operating systems and endpoint troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) is preferred.
• Familiarity with Kenna/Cisco Vulnerability Management or similar platforms is an advantage.
• Experience with security patching and endpoint compliance.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Willing to work onsite in Manila.
• Willing to work on a day shift.
• Available to start immediately or within a short notice period.
