Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager - SI / 50k

Our client:

A well-established technology and business solutions organization in Hong Kong. They are looking for a Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager to lead security monitoring, incident response and threat management operations.

Your role:

• Lead 24/7 SOC operations, ensuring timely detection, investigation and response to security events
• Own the full incident response lifecycle from triage and containment to recovery and post-incident reporting
• Enhance security monitoring use cases, playbooks, detection logic and threat response processes
• Manage, coach and develop SOC analysts while overseeing workload planning and team performance
• Lead major security incidents, coordinate cross-functional response and manage escalations
• Oversee security technology vendors, tools, budgets and operational service quality
• Monitor recurring security issues, analyse threat trends and drive continuous improvement
• Prepare regular reports and translate technical findings into business recommendations for senior management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in cybersecurity, including at least 3 years managing a SOC or incident response team
• Strong knowledge of SIEM, EDR, SOAR, IDS/IPS, threat intelligence and modern attack techniques
• Experience with MITRE ATT&CK, security automation or AI-driven cybersecurity solutions is preferred
• Proven experience leading major security incidents and coordinating desktop exercises
• Experience in vendor and budget management for cybersecurity tools and services
• CISSP, CISM, GIAC or equivalent professional certifications are highly desirable
• Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• Strong written and spoken English with the ability to communicate complex security matters clearly
