Security Operations Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Security Operations Engineer to help protect and secure our cloud and enterprise environments.

Ideal Candidate : You have a strong background in Security Operations and hands-on experience securing Azure environments. You are comfortable investigating security incidents, improving detection capabilities, and working with Microsoft security technologies in enterprise environments.

What You'll Do

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents.
• Lead threat hunting and incident response activities.
• Manage and improve Microsoft security solutions such as Sentinel and Defender.
• Secure Azure cloud environments and network infrastructure.
• Create security alerts, detections, and automation workflows.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts.
• Work closely with Infrastructure, Network, Cloud, and DevOps teams.
• Mentor junior security team members.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender.
• Experience in incident response, threat hunting, and security operations.
• Good knowledge of Azure Security and Azure Networking.
• Experience with KQL, PowerShell, and security automation.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts such as VPNs, firewalls, DNS, and routing.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex security issues

Nice to Have

• Azure Security (AZ-500) certification.
• Azure Network Engineer (AZ-700) certification.
• CISSP, CCSP, SC-200, or similar security certifications.
• Python scripting experience.
