Security Operations Engineer

Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite

Our client is seeking a Security Operations Engineer to help strengthen and protect enterprise systems, cloud environments, SaaS platforms, and corporate infrastructure. This role will focus on cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, penetration testing, incident response, identity & access management, and compliance initiatives while partnering across IT and business teams.

Duties:

• Manage security operations, vulnerability remediation, and incident response activities
• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure Entra ID, Intune, SSO, MFA, and access management processes
• Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis
• Support audits, compliance programs, and security documentation
• Implement and improve security controls across cloud and enterprise environments
• Automate security and operational processes using Python, PowerShell, or similar tools
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance security posture and operational resilience

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of cybersecurity, security operations, IT infrastructure, or related experience
• Experience with vulnerability management, incident response, IAM, and network security
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure Entra ID, and endpoint management solutions
• Knowledge of SSO, SAML, MFA, PAM, and security best practices
• Experience with Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks, audits, and security controls

Preferred:

• Security certifications (Security+, OSCP, CEH, GPEN, PNPT, etc.)
• Experience with Microsoft Defender, SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability scanning tools
• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and related security frameworks
• Experience with penetration testing, red team activities, or risk assessments
