Security Operations Manager

ABOUT THE JOB

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of cybersecurity analysts, including setting priorities, allocating work, managing capacity, and supporting professional growth.
• Oversee Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) delivery, performance, service levels, and escalation management.
• Manage and improve security operations services, including vulnerability management, incident management, alert triage, endpoint security, and certificate management.
• Act as the central coordinator for Level 1 security topics across multiple entities and stakeholders in the APAC region.
• Coordinate the execution of security controls and consolidate control evidence, exceptions, corrective actions, and remediation progress.
• Maintain and drive security action plans, ensuring clear ownership, deadlines, dependencies, evidence of completion, and timely escalation of blockers.
• Coordinate the follow-up of ICT audit findings and remediation activities across relevant business entities.
• Support the rollout of Group security plans, controls, processes, and procedures.
• Prepare clear, consolidated security reports for leadership, highlighting risks, control gaps, overdue actions, and decisions required.
• Contribute to cybersecurity roadmaps by identifying recurring control weaknesses, audit findings, operational risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Improve security service quality, efficiency, and scalability through automation, documented procedures, and continuous improvement.
• Build trusted working relationships with technical teams, business stakeholders, leadership, and external service providers.

ABOUT YOU

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including security operations, security controls, audit remediation, or security coordination.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring cybersecurity analysts and managing operational service delivery.
• Strong understanding of security operations, including vulnerability management, incident response, endpoint security, alert triage, and security controls.
• Experience coordinating security initiatives, action plans, controls, or audit remediation across multiple teams, business units, or entities.
• Ability to influence stakeholders beyond direct reporting lines and drive actions to completion.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage team priorities alongside reporting, action tracking, governance, and coordination activities.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to explain security risks and technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proactive, autonomous, persistent, and comfortable escalating risks or blockers when needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Qualys, Rapid7, or Tenable .
• Experience with endpoint-security tools such as Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike Falcon, Sophos Endpoint, or Cortex XDR .
• Experience with SOAR or security-automation platforms such as Splunk SOAR, Cortex XSOAR, or Microsoft Sentinel .
• Hands-on experience with scripting or development languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Java .
• Exposure to automation tools such as Ansible or Airflow .
• Strong understanding of Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office , particularly Excel and Power BI.

NICE TO HAVE

• CISSP, CISM, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications.
• Experience working in banking, insurance, healthcare, or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience working in a multicultural or multi-entity environment.
• Experience working with MSSPs and external security vendors.
• Experience with security governance, ICT audits, risk management, and compliance reporting.
• French or Thai language skills.
