About the Role

Alpha Omega Securities Ltd are looking for a reliable, flexible and experienced Security Operations Support Officer to join our team.

This is a varied operational security role involving mobile patrols, responding to alarm activations, site inspections and audits, staff transportation and supporting our wider Operations and Control Room functions.

The successful candidate will need to be adaptable, confident working independently and able to respond effectively to situations as they arise.

Duties Will Include

• Working closely with Security Officers, Control Room Operators and Mobile Drivers.
• Completion of company reports and records in both IT and handwritten formats.
• Carrying out site inspections, audits and patrols of our customers' premises.
• Responding to alarm activations received by our Control Room.
• Attending customer premises and dealing with incidents in accordance with company procedures.
• Transporting security staff to and from customer sites.
• Covering Mobile Driver duties when required.
• Assisting the wider Operations team with operational requirements.
• Providing Control Room cover when required.
• Supporting Security Officers and Mobile Drivers with operational queries and requirements.
• Completing accurate incident, patrol and activity reports.
• Maintaining effective communication with the Control Room, Operations team, customers and colleagues.
• Identifying and escalating security concerns appropriately.
• Ensuring company procedures, site instructions and risk assessments are followed.
• Carrying out any other reasonable duties required to support the effective operation of the security service.

Essential Requirements

The successful candidate must have:

• A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• A Full UK Clean Driving Licence.
• Previous experience in Mobile Security Patrols.
• Previous experience responding to and attending alarm activations.
• The ability to work independently and use their own initiative.
• The ability to remain calm and professional when responding to incidents.
• Good communication and report-writing skills.
• The ability to complete both electronic and handwritten records accurately.
• A flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to changing operational requirements.
• The ability to prioritise workload and respond to situations as they happen.
• A high standard of professionalism and customer service.

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in a mobile response or mobile security role.
• Experience working within a Control Room environment.
• Experience transporting or coordinating security staff.
• Experience carrying out site audits and inspections.
• Experience using electronic patrol and reporting systems.
• Additional relevant security qualifications or training.
