Security Personnel

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas of the facility to detect and prevent unauthorised access, theft, and security breaches
• Control and manage entry and exit points, verifying credentials and documentation of personnel and visitors
• Conduct thorough inspections of premises, equipment, and vehicles to identify potential security risks
• Maintain accurate and detailed security logs and incident reports
• Respond promptly to security alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations
• Enforce company security policies and procedures consistently
• Provide professional and courteous customer service to employees and visitors
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required
• Participate in regular security briefings and training sessions
• Monitor surveillance equipment and CCTV systems to ensure facility safety

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Valid security licence or certification as required by local regulations
• Proven experience in security services or a related field
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, emergency procedures, and health and safety regulations
• Excellent observational and situational awareness skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical fitness and ability to perform duties requiring standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods
• Reliability and commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance
• Professional appearance and demeanour
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays if required
