Security Professional

Position Overview:

We are looking for a professional and detail-oriented Security Officer to help maintain a safe and orderly environment across residential communities. The ideal candidate will ensure property security, enforce curfew policies, engage appropriately with residents and guests, and document all findings through clear, time-stamped reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor residential buildings, parking areas, and shared spaces to ensure safety and compliance with community rules.
• Observe and document resident and guest activity, reporting any suspicious behavior, disturbances, or policy violations.
• Enforce curfew regulations, communicate expectations to residents, and ensure non-residents leave the property after hours.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns such as unsecured doors, broken fencing, leaks, or damage to property.
• Maintain professional interactions with residents, guests, and maintenance staff when on site.
• Respond calmly to complaints or incidents, assist in de-escalating conflict, and ensure resolution without disruption.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary.
• Submit clear, accurate, and timely written reports detailing observations, interactions, and any incidents during shift.
• Uphold a professional presence and represent the company with integrity at all times.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in residential or property security preferred.
• Strong observational and communication skills.
• Ability to remain focused, alert, and calm under pressure.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
• Must pass a background check and meet any training or certification requirements.

Work Conditions:

• Night shifts, weekends, and holidays may be required.
• Work may include standing or being outdoors for extended periods and responding to a variety of property-related concerns.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.50 - $13.00 per hour
