Duties

• Monitor state of the art surveillance system such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the premises and identify potential security threats.
• Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to detect suspicious activity, hazards, or breaches in security protocols.
• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services/personnel when necessary.
• Implement conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations effectively and professionally. Must be able to pass MED training course.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate/prompt record-keeping.
• Assist with loss prevention initiatives by identifying theft or vandalism and reporting findings appropriately.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement REQUIRED.
• Certification in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during medical emergencies.
• Knowledge of surveillance tools such as CCTV systems and experience with loss prevention strategies.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Background in military or law enforcement service is a plus, demonstrating discipline and situational awareness.
• Ability to perform physical duties including patrolling, standing for extended periods, and quick response actions.
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and the public. • SATURDAY 8AM-2PM

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
