Security Professional - Part time, Per diem

Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Professional to join our team on a part-time, per diem basis. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across various facilities by implementing comprehensive security measures. Your expertise in surveillance, access control, emergency response, and conflict management will ensure the safety of personnel, property, and assets. Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of designated areas to monitor for suspicious activity and ensure physical security protocols are followed.
• Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras and access control systems to oversee facility security.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, including alarms or disturbances, following established emergency response procedures.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events accurately and thoroughly.
• Perform background checks on visitors or contractors as needed to verify identity and authorization.
• Manage access control by verifying credentials and maintaining logs of personnel entering and exiting the premises.
• Assist with emergency situations by providing first aid, CPR, AED operation, or fire extinguisher use when necessary.
• Enforce security regulations while practicing conflict de-escalation and conflict management techniques to resolve issues peacefully.
• Support law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring external coordination.
• Conduct manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when required for equipment or supplies related to security operations.

Qualifications

**MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE NH GUARD CARD**

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with knowledge of surveillance techniques and physical security measures.
• Valid certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, Taser use, firearm handling (if applicable), and fire safety are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control systems, incident report writing, and compliance with security regulations.
• Ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough patrolling activities across different environments.
• Strong communication skills with a customer service-oriented approach when interacting with staff, visitors, or contractors.
• Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting tasks and perform manual handling safely during patrols or incident responses.
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure while managing conflicts effectively and ensuring safety at all times.
