Job Summary - Statewide
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, a proactive approach to security, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor activities and maintain records of incidents.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary, providing detailed reports on incidents or suspicious behavior.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or damage risks and implementing preventative measures.
• Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations effectively.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable but not required.
• Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, employees, and law enforcement personnel.
