Fidelis Academy and Protection Services is staffing security for a large industrial construction project in Axis, Alabama. We need Shift Supervisors who own their shift: every post covered, every officer ready, every incident handled. All hiring happens in person at our open hiring event. What you'll do

• Lead the shift as the senior Fidelis leader on site and the go-to for every officer on duty.
• Run shift briefings and confirm attendance, assignments, uniforms, equipment and readiness.
• Inspect posts, correct problems on the spot and document repeat issues.
• Report no-shows and open posts to scheduling right away and keep posts covered until they're filled.
• Know every post well enough to train it, inspect it and stand it.
• Take command of incidents and emergencies: deploy officers, secure the area and call in law enforcement, fire or EMS when needed.
• Review reports for accuracy before they're submitted, and coach and document officer performance.
• Keep the Account Manager informed of anything that could affect the client or the operation.

What you need

• At least 2 years of security, military or law enforcement experience, including 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to direct officers, run briefings and take charge during incidents.
• Strong report writing and the ability to review others' reports.
• Comfortable with email, electronic reporting and basic computer use.
• Able to pass a background check, drug screen and E-Verify, and meet Alabama licensing requirements.

Physical demands

This is an active construction site. You must be able to do the following, with or without reasonable accommodation: stand and walk for an 8 to 12 hour shift, sit at a fixed post while staying alert, climb stairs, walk on uneven, rocky, muddy or gravel ground, work outdoors in heat, cold and rain, lift up to 25 pounds occasionally, and wear a hard hat, high-visibility vest, safety glasses and safety-toe boots for a full shift.
