SECURITY SITE MANAGER – SECURITY SERVICES

We are looking for an experienced and highly competent Security Site Manager to oversee security operations at our client site. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing security personnel, ensuring compliance with company and client requirements, and maintaining high standards of security and service delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and supervise all security officers deployed at the site.
• Ensure effective implementation of site security procedures and instructions.
• Conduct regular inspections and site patrols.
• Manage staff attendance, rosters, shifts and absenteeism.
• Ensure adequate deployment and coverage of security officers.
• Monitor security officers’ performance, conduct and discipline.
• Conduct parades, briefings and toolbox talks.
• Investigate incidents, breaches, complaints and security-related matters.
• Compile and submit daily, weekly and monthly security reports.
• Maintain accurate occurrence books, registers and other site documentation.
• Ensure compliance with PSIRA, client requirements and company policies.
• Liaise professionally with the client and address operational concerns.
• Identify security risks and implement appropriate corrective measures.
• Manage emergencies and escalate serious incidents to management.
• Ensure all security officers are properly uniformed, equipped and compliant.
• Assist with disciplinary matters and provide relevant reports and supporting documentation.
• Ensure that all site instructions are understood and followed by security personnel.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• PSIRA Grade A
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a Security Site Manager/Site Supervisor or similar management role.
• Proven experience managing security officers and large teams.
• Strong knowledge of security operations and site management.
• Good knowledge of PSIRA requirements and private security procedures.
• Experience with rosters, attendance, incident reporting and disciplinary processes.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage operational challenges.
• Computer literate – Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.
• No criminal record and subject to company vetting requirements.
