SECURITY SOLUTION ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and propose security solutions based on customer requirements and project specifications.
• Support enterprise and project opportunities by developing suitable technical solutions and system configurations.
• Conduct product demonstrations and Proof of Concept (POC) activities for customers and partners.
• Prepare technical proposals, Bills of Materials (BOM), compliance matrices and other technical documentation.
• Provide technical support for tender submissions, including reviewing specifications and preparing technical responses.
• Work closely with the Sales team to understand customer requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions.
• Participate in customer meetings, technical discussions and project presentations where required.
• Conduct site visits and technical assessments to understand project requirements and deployment conditions.
• Provide technical guidance and product recommendations based on project requirements.
• Conduct product and solution training for customers, business partners and internal teams.
• Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers and internal technical teams to evaluate products and solutions.
• Support the Sales team in identifying and developing project opportunities.
• Provide technical clarification and support throughout the sales and project development process.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in presales engineering, solution engineering, systems engineering, project engineering or a related technical role.
• Experience in security systems, ELV, CCTV, access control, intercom or related technologies is preferred.
• Good understanding of IP networking, TCP/IP, VLAN, routing and basic network infrastructure.
• Experience in preparing technical proposals, BOMs, compliance matrices or tender documentation will be an advantage.
• Experience with security products and platforms such as Hikvision, Dahua, Milestone, Genetec, Gallagher or similar will be an advantage.
• Good presentation, communication and technical writing skills.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Customer-oriented with good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Willing to travel for customer meetings, site surveys, demonstrations and project-related activities when required.
