Security Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly responsible and proactive Security Supervisor to oversee daily security operations and lead a team of Security Officers. The successful candidate will ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, visitors, hotel assets, and facilities by implementing established policies, procedures, and security standards. The role requires strong leadership, incident management, emergency response, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Operations

• Supervise and manage daily security operations and shift activities.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and deploy security personnel effectively.
• Monitor compliance with security policies, procedures, and company standards.
• Respond immediately to security incidents, accidents, emergencies, and safety concerns.
• Conduct regular patrols and CCTV monitoring of critical areas.
• Ensure proper access control, visitor management, and asset protection measures.
• Prepare monthly duty rosters and coordinate manpower requirements.

Safety and Emergency Preparedness

• Lead and participate in emergency drills and response activities.
• Ensure all team members are trained on emergency procedures and life safety systems.
• Monitor fire and life safety compliance throughout the property.
• Respond appropriately during emergencies and coordinate with relevant departments.

Incident Management and Investigations

• Investigate security incidents, accidents, losses, and reported violations.
• Secure incident scenes and preserve evidence when necessary.
• Prepare detailed incident and investigation reports.
• Coordinate with management regarding security concerns and recommendations.

Team Leadership and Development

• Supervise, coach, and mentor Security Officers.
• Conduct performance monitoring and provide corrective guidance as needed.
• Maintain discipline, professionalism, and compliance with company standards.
• Assist in training and onboarding new security personnel.
• Promote teamwork, employee engagement, and effective communication.

Security Administration

• Prepare and submit daily activity reports and security documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, attendance, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of security records and reports.

Guest Service

• Deliver professional and courteous service to guests, visitors, and employees.
• Address guest concerns related to security and safety in a timely manner.
• Foster positive guest interactions while maintaining a secure environment.
• Assist guests when necessary and promote a culture of hospitality and safety.

Security Systems Monitoring

• Monitor and maintain:
• CCTV systems
• Electronic key systems
• Fire detection and alarm systems
• Panic and emergency alarms
• Radio communication equipment
• Access control systems
• Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs when necessary.

Qualifications:

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Security Management, Law Enforcement, or a related field preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of security experience, preferably within the hospitality, hotel, resort, or commercial industry.
• At least 1 to 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong knowledge of security operations, investigations, emergency response, and safety practices.
• Experience in CCTV monitoring, access control, and incident reporting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proficient in report writing and documentation.
• Customer service oriented with a professional demeanor.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Security Officer License (if required by local regulations)
• First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Fire Safety and Emergency Response Training

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php22,000.00 per month
