Security Supervisor

INTECH Process Automation is seeking a seasoned Security Supervisor to join our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team. The selected candidate will supervise site security personnel and security arrangements , maintain effective access control, personnel accountability, patrols, incident response, and security reporting in accordance with requirements.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Supervise daily activities of security guards and assigned security personnel.
• Control and monitor personnel, vehicle, and visitor access through designated entry and exit points.
• Maintain accurate personnel accountability, access records, visitor logs, and security registers.
• Ensure compliance with site security procedures, access restrictions, identification, and badge requirements.
• Conduct and supervise security patrols, inspections, and surveillance of site facilities and perimeter areas.
• Monitor security conditions and identify unauthorized access, suspicious activity, security risks, and breaches.
• Respond to and manage security incidents, emergencies, alarms, disturbances, and access violations.
• Immediately report significant incidents and coordinate response with Security, HSE, Operations, and emergency services as required.
• Maintain effective control of gates, barriers, checkpoints, keys, passes, and security equipment.
• Support implementation of emergency, evacuation, muster, and personnel accountability arrangements.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily security reports, shift handovers, and security records.
• Brief and supervise security personnel on site rules, post instructions, emergency procedures, and security requirements.
• Coordinate security arrangements for contractor activities, deliveries, visitors, shutdowns, and special events.
• Identify security deficiencies and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Comply with the Security procedures, HSE requirements, site rules, and applicable legal requirements.

Requirements:

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

• Relevant degree, diploma, or professional certification appropriate to the assigned function.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial/site security, including 3 years on Oil & Gas sites.
• Proven experience supervising security personnel and site security operations.
• Strong knowledge of access control, personnel accountability, visitor management, patrols, and incident response.
• Experience with security registers, reports, shift handovers, and incident documentation.
• Knowledge of Oil & Gas site security procedures, restricted areas, emergency response, and site rules.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with Security, Operations, HSE, contractors, and emergency services.
• Experience managing security arrangements during shutdowns, construction, maintenance, and high-activity periods.
• Good communication, supervision, decision-making, and incident management skills.
• Familiarity with CCTV, access-control systems, radios, barriers, alarms, and other security equipment is advantageous.
• Strong awareness of HSE, emergency procedures, confidentiality, and security requirements.
