What they need
- Experience:
- No experience is required. However, 1–2 years of experience in security operations or as a security guard is a plus.
- Experience in managing or supervising a team, preferably in a security environment.
- Ability to manage and monitor security staff (Nepalese workers).
- Proven experience dealing with management, security managers, and clients, especially in a high-security environment like a data center.
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
- Ability to supervise and assign tasks to security guards and monitor their performance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with site management, security managers, and clients.
- Basic knowledge of using computers (e.g., daily report preparation, Microsoft Word, Excel, email communication).
- Ability to use a laptop or tablet to submit daily reports, incident logs, and updates to the management team.
- Basic understanding of handling site issues and operational matters in a security context.
- Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in Malay and English (written and spoken).
- Additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Hindi) are a plus.
- Customer and Site Relations:
- Ability to communicate effectively with customer management to provide updates on-site issues and concerns.
- Responsible for maintaining smooth operations at the site, ensuring that all security duties are being performed properly and efficiently.
- Must be able to follow up with customers and provide solutions to any site-related problems.
- Other Qualities:
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Ability to handle and manage stress, especially in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be capable of handling a 12-hour shift.
- Work Schedule:
- Working 6 days per week, with 12-hour shifts. (Include OT)
- Flexibility to work weekends or holidays when required.
