About the Job

• The Security Supervisor in a hotel is responsible for overseeing the security operations of the establishment to ensure the safety and well-being of guests, employees, and property.
• They play a crucial role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for all stakeholders.
• Coordinate the safety and security programs to promote and ensure a safe working environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and supervise a team of security personnel, including security officers and guards.
• Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and ensure proper coverage to maintain security presence 24/7.
• Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms (Fire Panel, Emergency alarm, Panic alarm, etc.), and other security systems to detect and respond to any suspicious activities or incidents.
• Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises, including public areas, guest floors, parking lots, and back-of-house areas.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, and incidents, taking appropriate actions to maintain order and safety.
• Provide a visible presence to deter potential security threats and ensure the safety of guests and employees.
• Investigate and document security-related incidents, accidents, and guest complaints.
• Foster a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional guest service within the security team.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments, such as front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
• Work with law enforcement and emergency services when required, sharing information and facilitating their actions.
• Enforce access control measures, verifying the identity of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities within the hotel premises and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Implement preventive measures to minimize security incidents, theft, and property damage.
• Must be able to communicate well and be suspicious of all activities happening inside the property. Watch for suspicious persons entering, exiting, or loitering around building.
• Experienced in CPR, first aid, firefighting, and crowd control and Traffic control.

About You

• Degree or Professional Qualification/certification in a security-related field.
• 3 years of relevant security experience within a 4-5-star hotel or Community compound Residences.
• More than 3 years of experience at a supervisory level or 3 years in Law enforcement and the military
• Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using security equipment and systems, including CCTV and alarms (Fire Panel, Emergency alarm, Panic alarm, etc.).
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
• Familiarity with local laws and regulations related to security operations.
