Join Our Team:

Turtle Mountain Recovery Center (TMRC) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to lead our Security Department and help maintain a safe, respectful, and recovery-focused environment for our clients, staff, visitors, and facilities.

This is a working supervisory position responsible for overseeing daily security operations, supervising Security Officers, ensuring 24/7 security coverage, and responding to emergencies as needed. The ideal candidate is a dependable leader who can make sound decisions, mentor staff, and remain calm under pressure.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the Security Department and Security Officers.
• Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure 24/7 security coverage.
• Respond to staffing shortages, call-ins, and emergency coverage needs.
• Review incident reports, patrol logs, and security documentation.
• Promote a safe, secure, and recovery-oriented environment for clients, staff, and visitors.
• Collaborate with leadership and other departments to address safety and operational concerns
• Ensure compliance with TMRC policies, confidentiality standards, and applicable regulations.
• Perform Security Officer duties and provide shift coverage when operationally necessary.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in security, law enforcement, corrections, military service, healthcare security, behavioral health, residential treatment, emergency response, or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year supervisory, lead, or scheduling experience
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet TMRC driving requirements
• Minimum of 12 months continuous sobriety.

Preferred:

• Associate degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Emergency Management, Behavioral Health, Business, or a related field
• Five of more years of security or public safety experience
• Supervisory experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or residential treatment settings
• Experience with surveillance systems, access control, incident investigations, and emergency response

Schedule: This position supports a 24-hour, 7 day per week operation. The Security Supervisor must be available to work a flexible schedule that may include:

• Days
• Evenings
• Overnights
• Weekends
• Holidays
• Emergency or on-call coverage
