Security Supervisor (Floater) Entry level position

Jurney & Associates, Inc. is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Security Supervisor -Floater position, for a high-end luxury property in Miami.

Position Overview

A entry level position with Jurney & Associates is an on-call security professional who provides coverage across multiple locations and assignments. The position offers variable hours, multiple site assignments, and the opportunity to support the company when additional coverage is needed.

Supervisors must be dependable, adaptable, and available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, vacations, and last-minute call-offs.

Work Schedule

• May be required to work shifts may be irregular.
• Some shifts are assigned by management.
• Other shifts may be selected through a self-scheduling application.
• Hours may vary from week to week based on available assignments and staffing requirements.

Duties may include:

• Conducting foot and vehicle patrols of designated areas.
• Monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas.
• Controlling access to assigned properties.
• Responding to security incidents and emergencies.
• Operating or responding to alarms.
• Contacting police, fire, EMS, or other emergency services when necessary.
• Preparing accurate and timely incident reports.
• Assisting customers, residents, employees, visitors, and other members of the public.
• Enforcing site-specific rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Maintaining a professional appearance, attitude, and level of conduct at all times.

Qualifications

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Valid unarmed security license, as required by applicable state law.
• Must be bilingual Spanish English
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred/required depending on the position.
• Valid driver's license if the assigned position requires driving.
• Minimum age of 21 years old.
• Approximately 0–2 years of security experience,
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to adapt to different properties, supervisors, clients, and security environments.
• Ability to work varied and irregular schedules.
• Must successfully complete required background and drug screening, where applicable.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
