Security Systems Specialist (f/m/d)

Mission Brief

As our Security Systems Specialist, you’ll be part of the Isar Aerospace SE corporate security and will be responsible for maintenance of the technical security infrastructure on our sites. You will proactively service and upgrade existing systems and develop concepts for the technical implementation of new ones for upcoming sites. You will keep our physical security infrastructure running and protect our sites by taking a holistic approach to technical security systems.

Your Role in Our Space Mission:

• Maintain the technical security infrastructure on our sites, especially doors, gates, turnstiles, CCTV and intrusion detection
• Conceptualize and coordinate the implementation of technical security systems for new sites by continuous alignment with building owners, general contractors and constructors
• Repair minor defects yourself and identify, commission and coordinate service providers for more complex maintenance needs
• Install and replace devices of existing systems
• Regular checks on the health, operability and resilience of our security systems
• Stay up to date on developments and trends in the field of technical security systems and continuously check and advise on the potential implementation on our sites

Qualification Checklist

• A university degree in engineering or a related field with first practical experience in technical security systems

or

• A trained professional in a technical field with several years of experience in physical security systems
• Work experience for a systems integrator, in an engineering office or as a security technician in corporate environment
• In-depth technical knowledge in minimum one of the following fields: Perimeter protection, access systems, CCTV or intrusion detection
• Familiarity with the holistic technical security systems of the large global providers
• Experience in linking and centralizing technical facility monitor and alarm systems among different sites
• Fluent German and good English skills, both spoken and written

Bonus Skills

• Experience in global scaling of homogenous technical security infrastructures
• Familiarity with technical systems for drone detection
