SECURITY SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN – PSIRA GRADE C

An established EME based in Pretoria is seeking an experienced Security Systems Technician with valid PSIRA Grade C registration to undertake the installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of CCTV, security monitoring and access control systems.

Minimum Requirements

• Qualified Security Systems Technician / relevant technical qualification.
• Valid PSIRA Grade C registration.
• Proven experience in the installation and commissioning of CCTV, security monitoring and access control systems.
• Proven experience working with security system manufacturers/OEMs.
• Ability to install, configure, test and commission security systems.
• Experience with IP cameras, NVRs, access control panels, biometric readers and associated equipment will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of applicable security, electrical and health & safety requirements.

Supporting Documents Required

• Updated CV.
• Valid PSIRA Grade C certificate/card.
• Relevant trade/technical qualification.
• Proof of training as an installer from the relevant manufacturer/OEM for the installation of the security systems.
• Proof of previous CCTV, access control and security system installation experience.
