Security Systems Technician – SIRA Experience

We are seeking an experienced Security Systems Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) and physical security systems. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hands-on field experience with CCTV, access control, intercoms, and gate barriers, alongside a strong ability to read schematic drawings. Prior experience with SIRA standards and approvals in Dubai is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

System Installation & Wiring: Install, configure, and commission CCTV (IP & Analog), Access Control (biometric, RFID, mag-locks), Video Intercoms, and Automated Gate Barriers.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose hardware/software faults, and repair security infrastructure promptly to minimize downtime.

Technical Drawing Interpretation: Read and execute works according to ELV floor plans, single-line diagrams, containment layouts, and schematic drawings.

SIRA Standard Execution: Ensure all CCTV camera placements, recording parameters, and system setups strictly follow SIRA technical specifications.

Testing & Handover: Conduct thorough pre-commissioning tests, assist with client handovers, and prepare site completion reports.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience as an ELV / Security Systems Technician in the UAE or GCC.

Technical Skills: Hands-on proficiency with network video recorders (NVRs), IP camera configuration, access control controllers, and gate barrier loop detectors.

Networking & Low Current: Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, routers, switches, subnets, structured cabling, Cat6/Fiber termination).

Certifications: SIRA Technician license/certification is strongly preferred (or eligibility to pass the exam immediately).

Education: Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.

Language & Driving: English proficiency required; valid UAE driving license is a plus.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
