🔐 Security Leader / Security Business Partner

📍 Tokyo, Japan (Hybrid)

I'm currently supporting a confidential search for a Security Leader / Security Business Partner with one of the world's largest and most recognizable technology and innovation organizations.

This is not a traditional SOC, engineering, or operations-focused security role.

Instead, you'll act as a trusted security advisor to business stakeholders , helping enterprise teams move quickly while managing risk appropriately. Think of security as the brake that enables the business accelerator to operate safely. You'll work closely with business units, leadership teams, and global security stakeholders to embed security into decision-making and strategic initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

✅ Advising business units on security risks related to new initiatives and projects

✅ Driving security programs and enterprise-wide improvement initiatives

✅ Developing and enhancing security governance frameworks

✅ Conducting risk assessments for third-party vendors, services, and business activities

✅ Supporting security awareness, training, and phishing simulation programs

✅ Working with stakeholders to improve security maturity across the organization

✅ Partnering with international teams on global security initiatives

✅ Helping balance business objectives with security requirements in a fast-moving enterprise environment
