Synergy Fire and Security Solutions is looking for an experienced Security Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a skilled technician who can confidently install, service, troubleshoot, and repair security systems with little to no supervision.We are open to starting the right candidate as a subcontractor, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time employee position for someone who proves to be a strong fit with our company.Position ResponsibilitiesThe Security Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, troubleshooting, and repair of:

• Security alarm systems
• Access control systems
• CCTV/video surveillance systems
• Related security equipment and devices
• Low-voltage wiring and associated equipment

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, diagnosing problems in the field, communicating professionally with customers, and completing jobs correctly and efficiently without requiring constant supervision.Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Security license
• Must own a reliable vehicle
• Must own your own tools appropriate for security system installation and service
• Valid driver's license
• Clean background
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to safely climb and work from ladders
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
• Must be willing and able to travel for a few out-of-town jobs within Texas each year
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Professional appearance and customer service skills
• Reliable and dependable

Compensation

$26.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, plus mileage reimbursement.

Compensation will be based on your experience, technical abilities, licensing, and ability to independently complete security installations and service calls.
