Position Summary

We're seeking an experienced Electronic Security Technician to join our King of Prussia, PA Security Division team. In this role, you'll support the proper and timely installation, programming, troubleshooting, repair, and service of commercial electronic security systems, including access control, IP video, intrusion alarm, and other low voltage systems.

What You'll Be Doing

• Install commercial electronic security systems, including access control, IP video, intrusion alarm, and other low voltage systems in a proper and timely manner.
• Install wire and conduit, system devices, terminations, programming, troubleshooting, and repairs to meet project installation requirements.
• Program electronic security systems according to specifications and design while meeting code requirements.
• Complete and process project documentation and reports, including updating design drawings in a thorough, neat, and timely manner upon project completion.
• Perform service on security systems in a timely, professional, and quality manner.
• Consult with salespeople on project technical requirements to support accurate proposals.
• Present yourself to customers in a professional manner to create and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Participate in education and training classes.

What We're Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience installing electronic security systems for commercial end users
• Knowledge of access control, IP video, intrusion, and other low voltage systems
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Ability to work independently, handle a variety of situations, and work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s or technical degree preferred.
• Experience completing project documentation, reports, design drawing updates, or customer technical requirements preferred.
