Role & responsibilities

NEED IMMEDIATE JOINERS!

• Make sure Repo and Bond trades are processed and settled on time.
• Check that trades are correctly instructed and matched.
• Monitor trades that have failed to settle.
• Take action to reduce settlement failures.
• Arrange partial delivery of securities when full delivery is not possible.
• Look for ways to avoid or reduce failed trades.
• Match trades with counterparties every day before settlement.
• Manage cash requirements related to funding and settlement.
• Work on trades recorded in Calypso, the firm's trading/settlement system.

2. Resolve Account and Securities Breaks

You will investigate differences between the firm's records and the records of banks/custodians.

This includes:

• Checking and resolving Nostro breaks (differences in cash/bank records).
• Checking and resolving Depot breaks (differences in securities/holdings records).
• Making corrections in Calypso when required.
• Investigating accounting differences.
• Working with Securities Control and Accounting teams to resolve issues.
