We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security/Unarmed Officer to uphold the safety and security of our facility. In this role, you will monitor premises through surveillance systems, perform access control duties, and respond promptly to security incidents. Your proactive approach will help maintain a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the office premises to identify and address potential security issues.
• Monitor CCTV surveillance systems to oversee activity within and around the facility.
• Control access points by verifying identities and authorizations for employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Respond swiftly to security alarms or incidents, following established emergency response procedures.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches or unusual activities.
• Perform background checks on new employees or vendors as part of the onboarding process.
• Assist with conflict de-escalation and manage difficult situations professionally and calmly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of surveillance equipment, access control systems, CCTV operation, and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and Taser use is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of physical security practices, conflict management, and compliance with security regulations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods; capable of performing heavy lifting when required.
• Familiarity with fire safety protocols and incident report writing is advantageous.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
