Security/Fire Systems Technician

Position Summary:

Full-time position responsible for performing scheduled installation and service on fire alarms, burglar alarms, access control systems, and CCTV systems in industrial and commercial settings.

Duties:

• Install control panels, burglar alarm devices, fire alarm devices, access control, video cameras, and wiring to components.
• Repair and troubleshoot security systems, alarm devices, access control systems, IP and analog-based cameras and recorders, and related equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans
• Service components, equipment, or systems
• Repair electrical components
• Mount and fasten control panels, various burglar alarms, fire alarm sensors, access control components, or video cameras and attach electrical wiring to connect components

Requirements:

• Alarm system or security system industry experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Sense of urgency, self-initiative, dedication, and sense of ownership is required
• Efficient written and verbal interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with a multi-functional team of sales, engineering, manufacturing & marketing associates
• Outstanding ability to follow through from start to finish of work
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to balance multiple priorities
• Exceptional customer service
• Must have a valid driver's license with a driving record (MVR) that meets the company's requirements
