Seeking skilled EEG technologist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled EEG Technologist to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will perform specialized neurological testing (EEG) monitoring to assist in the diagnosis and management of neurological conditions.

Duties

• Conduct electroencephalography (EEG) recordings, electromyography (EMG), and other neurodiagnostic tests with precision and adherence to established protocols.
• Operate and maintain specialized neurological equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety during electrophysiology testing.
• Monitor patients continuously during electromyography procedures, observing vital signs and neurological responses to ensure patient stability and comfort.
• Interpret diagnostic test results accurately, providing detailed reports for neurologists and other healthcare providers to support diagnostic evaluation.
• Document all procedures thoroughly in patient monitoring systems, including vital signs, test parameters, and any abnormalities observed during testing.
• Assist with other duties: Medical Assisting when there is availability.

Experience

• Proven experience performing EEG, EMG, or other neurodiagnostic testing within a outpatient setting.
• Strong understanding of neurophysiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and the operation of electrophysiology monitoring equipment.
• Prior experience interpreting diagnostic evaluation results is required.
• Must be certified as a Medical Assistant, and have required training as an EEG Technician.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of patient care and technical procedures.
• Must have at least 5 years working experience in field or related Neurology field.
• Must be able to provide documents and references prior to scheduling an interview.

Pay: $25.00 - $33.41 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
