Selections Coordinator

Position Summary

The Selections Coordinator turns a signed contract into a build-ready set of decisions. This role guides clients through finish and equipment selections, holds selections to schedule milestones, maintains the approved selections record, and delivers a complete selections package at construction handoff so the field never waits on a decision.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide clients through finish and equipment selections.
• Manage selection deadlines against schedule milestones.
• Maintain the build-ready selections record and client approvals.
• Process post-approval selection changes.
• Escalate long-lead items before they threaten the schedule.
• Maintain the catalog, samples, and vendor availability information.
• Deliver the completed selections package at construction handoff.
• Prepare change orders arising from selection changes.

Decision Authority & Accountability

Accountable for client selections, selection deadlines, the approved selections record, and the completed handoff package. Post-approval changes and change orders are performed by this role under the Construction Manager/PM's accountability.

Collaboration

• Job staging and material needs — consulted by the Warehouse Manager on what selections drive.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in design coordination, selections, or client-facing project coordination; pool or residential construction preferred.
• Strong eye for finish materials and comfort discussing options and pricing with clients.
• Disciplined about deadlines, documentation, and written approvals.
• Familiarity with vendor catalogs, lead times, and availability management.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
