Location: Queenstown Lakes - Otago

Pay: $27.00 to $28.50 per hour

Guaranteed hours: minimum of 30 hours per week (permanent)

Queenstown holiday home management business is looking for reliable, thorough Self-checker Housekeepers to service our portfolio of holiday homes and short-stay properties. This is a hands-on cleaning and presentation role where you take ownership of the standard of each property. You will be trusted to quality-check yours and other's work and get each home guest-ready.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Cleaning and servicing holiday homes and apartments between guest stays, including bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms and living areas
• Changing linen, making beds and setting up the property to a consistent presentation standard
• Restocking consumables and amenities
• Inspecting and self-checking each property once finished, reporting any maintenance issues, damage or missing items
• Communicating with guests, other housekeepers and the management team through our short-term rental management app
• Managing cleaning supplies and keeping equipment in good order
• Working to scheduled changeover times so properties are ready for guest arrivals

What you'll need

• Previous housekeeping, cleaning or accommodation experience preferred
• A high eye for detail and pride in your work
• Ability to work unsupervised and manage your own time across multiple properties
• Reliability and good time management, especially around changeover deadlines
• A full drivers licence is an advantage, as the role involves travel between properties
• Physically fit for active, hands-on work
