About Us

MKFM Faciliaties Management Ltd is a growing property management company based in Milton Keynes. We manage a portfolio of residential properties, including Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs), shared houses and apartments.

We are looking for a reliable, experienced and detail-oriented Self-Employed Cleaning Contractor to provide cleaning services across our managed properties.

This opportunity is ideal for an independent cleaner who takes pride in delivering high-quality cleaning services, can work independently and is looking for regular cleaning assignments with flexible scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning services, including sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitise communal bathrooms, kitchens, hallways and shared living areas.
• Provide end-of-tenancy and room turnaround cleaning services when required.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies where necessary.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Follow relevant health and safety procedures when accessing properties.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages or concerns identified during cleaning.
• Complete agreed cleaning assignments to the required service standards.

Requirements

• Previous residential or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Reliable, trustworthy and detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently and manage cleaning assignments efficiently.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to travel between properties in Milton Keynes.
• Physically capable of undertaking general cleaning duties.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to provide invoices for services completed.
• Responsible for managing your own tax and National Insurance obligations, where applicable.

A valid UK driving licence and access to transport would be advantageous.

Self-Employed Working Arrangement

• This opportunity is offered on a self-employed contractor basis, not as an employed position.
• Cleaning assignments will be offered according to business requirements and contractor availability.
• Approximately 10–25 hours of cleaning services may be available per week, although no minimum volume of work is guaranteed.
• Cleaning schedules will be mutually agreed, taking account of property access requirements.
• Contractors may provide cleaning services to other clients.
• Payment will be made against valid invoices for completed cleaning services.
• The contractor will be responsible for their own tax obligations and appropriate insurance.
• The contractor will have flexibility over how agreed cleaning services are delivered, subject to cleaning standards, safety requirements and agreed deadlines.
