RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate a van or commercial vehicle to deliver packages across designated routes
• Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines
• Load and unload items with care, ensuring items are secure during transit
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery details and address any issues promptly
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with traffic laws
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and documentation for all shipments
• Adhere to all traffic regulations, safety procedures, and company policies throughout your shift

SKILLS

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong understanding of commercial driving practices
• Valid UK driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving vans, cars or similar vehicles preferred
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
• Warehouse experience is a plus, providing familiarity with logistics operations
• Strong organizational skills for route planning and time management
• Knowledge of local roads, traffic laws, and safety regulations is essential
