We are looking for motivated, reliable, and professional Self Employed Courier Drivers to join our team and deliver parcels on behalf of our business.

Important Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of driving experience required
• Must hold a valid driving licence suitable for driving a 3.4-tonne van
• Previous courier or delivery driving experience is preferred
• No visa sponsorship available
• Must be self-motivated, reliable, and physically capable of handling parcels throughout the day

As a DPD subcontractor, we provide professional parcel delivery services, and our drivers play a vital role in ensuring parcels are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time to residential and business customers.

This role offers the independence of self-employment, an active working environment, and the opportunity to work as part of an established delivery operation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 3.4-tonne van to deliver parcels to residential and business addresses.
• Complete deliveries efficiently while meeting daily delivery schedules and deadlines.
• Follow efficient delivery routes using GPS and mapping tools.
• Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries.
• Accurately complete proof-of-delivery records and required delivery documentation.
• Load, unload, and safely handle parcels of varying sizes and weights.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle.
• Carry out basic vehicle safety checks and report any issues promptly.
• Communicate with our dispatch/logistics team regarding delivery issues, customer queries, or route changes.
• Represent our company professionally when dealing with customers.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of driving experience.
• Valid UK driving licence suitable for operating a 3.4-tonne van.
• Good and responsible driving record.
• Previous courier, delivery, logistics, or warehouse experience is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of commercial driving practices.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Confident using GPS and navigation systems.
• Physically capable of lifting and carrying parcels safely throughout the working day.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced delivery environment.
• No visa sponsorship available for this position.

£500 Joining Bonus
