Electric Bike Courier Supervisor – Self-Employed

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and organised Electric Bike Courier Supervisor to join our growing delivery team at B Kitchen.

We work in partnership with Tesco, delivering hot food from a central kitchen to surrounding stores using electric bikes with attached thermal food trolleys.

The ideal candidate will have previous delivery experience, be confident managing other riders and communicate effectively with management to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver hot food safely and on time to Tesco stores.
• Supervise and support other delivery riders.
• Maintain clear communication between riders and management.
• Ensure deliveries run smoothly and efficiently.
• Carry out basic bike and trolley maintenance.
• Follow food safety and health & safety procedures.
• Help resolve any delivery issues quickly and professionally.

Requirements – Please Read Before Applying

• Must be self-employed.
• Must own or rent an electric bike that meets UK legal requirements.
• Bike seat must be removable and reattachable to allow our thermal trolley to be connected.
• Must have at least 2 batteries to cover shifts of 8+ hours. Battery charging is not permitted inside stores.
• Must have previous delivery experience, ideally in a similar role.
• Must be confident supervising and coordinating other riders.

Training

Basic food safety and health & safety training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Payment

• Self-employed position.
• Payments made bi-weekly until December 2026, then monthly from January 2027.

Please only apply if you meet ALL the essential requirements, particularly having a suitable electric bike with a removable seat, at least two batteries, and flexible availability.

We are looking for someone dependable who can lead a team, take responsibility and help maintain a high standard of service for our hot food delivery operations.

• Must speak good English and communicate clearly.
• Must be reliable, punctual and organised.
• Must be able to carry out basic bike and trolley maintenance.
• Must wear a helmet and high-visibility vest while working.
• Must be available for early morning starts (from 5am) and occasional evening shifts (up to 11pm).
• Weekend and evening availability is essential, although most shifts will be in the morning.

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 45.0 per week
