Self Employed Gas Engineer

We are looking for experienced, reliable, and professional self-employed Gas Safe registered engineers to join our team and carry out boiler installations and full heating system installations in council and social housing properties.

We have work available for engineers who can work independently, maintain high standards, and deliver quality installations while working to contract specifications and deadlines.

The Role

● Carry out boiler replacements and new boiler installations.

● Install full central heating systems, including radiators, pipework and associated components.

● Complete installations in council and social housing properties.

● Work to agreed price-work rates and installation specifications.

● Ensure all work complies with current gas safety regulations and relevant standards.

● Complete commissioning, certification, photographs and job sheets accurately.

● Maintain a professional approach when dealing with tenants, housing officers and other site representatives.

Requirements

● Valid Gas Safe registration with the relevant qualifications for the work undertaken.

● Proven experience in boiler and central heating installations.

● Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.

● Own van, tools and appropriate PPE.

● Relevant public liability insurance and any other required cover.

● Good communication skills and a professional attitude.

● Ability to complete all required compliance paperwork and meet contract deadlines.
