Self employed Live-in carer

Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Live-In Carer to provide high-quality personal care and support to an individual in their home. The successful candidate will live on-site and assist with daily living activities while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support with mobility and safe transfers
• Assist with medication reminders and basic health monitoring
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if required
• Perform light household duties related to care (laundry, cleaning, tidying)
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Follow care plans and maintain clear communication with family and/or healthcare professionals
• Respond appropriately in emergencies and provide first aid when required

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience as a live-in carer or in a similar care role
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• Relevant Care Certificate or equivalent recognized care qualification
• Knowledge of safe care practices and safeguarding
• Ability to provide compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care
• Good communication skills and a trustworthy, professional attitude

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with elderly care, disability care, or long-term health conditions
• Ability to work independently and adapt to individual needs
