Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Safely operate your own van or commercial vehicle to complete multiple daily deliveries across assigned routes
• Load and unload parcels, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring items are handled with care
• Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required
• Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe driving practices at all times
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs
• Manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines while optimizing route efficiency

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving multi-drop deliveries
• Valid driving license suitable for operating a van or commercial vehicle
• Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safe driving practices in various conditions
• Physical ability for heavy lifting and manual handling of parcels during loading and unloading
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
• Warehouse experience is a plus for understanding parcel handling procedures
• Self-motivated with good organizational skills to manage schedules independently
